News has broken that Aussie indie-rockers Tame Impala will release a brand-new album in 2015. The announcement came in an email from the band's management, Spinning Top Music, which made its way to Reddit today, Jan. 5.

“Now, 2015 is going to be one helluva year,” the email reads. “And I know this because I’m privy to some information about some truly amazing things happening that I think you’ll all love as much as we will. There will be new albums from POND, Tame Impala, the Growl, Gunns and Fascinator as well as tours and shows a plenty from everyone across the Spinning Top roster!”

Coincidentally, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker also previously worked with the psych-rock outfit POND.

When Tame Impala’s new album arrives, it will follow the band’s 2010 debut, ‘Innerspeaker,’ and their 2012 sophomore effort, ‘Lonerism.’
