Starting out as a project in Samuel Jacob-Lopez Jr's bedroom, Tapioca and the Flea have been creating a unique blend of psychedelic indie rock and electronic pop for a few years now. The Los Angeles quartet have a knack for dishing out catchy rhythms that instantly stand out in the midst of today's mundane mainstream music. Case in point, their latest music video for 'Take It Slow' will no doubt get you dancing and singing along as soon as you hit play. Don't just take our word for it: Check it out above.

Alongside the likes of Kurt Vile, Bad Religion, Phosphorescent, Future Islands, Gemini Club and more, Tapioca and the Flea are slated to be a significant part of this year’s ‘Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days In L.A.’ Scheduled for the Nov. 16 performance with Dum Dum Girls and Lowell at the Well, the massive month-long event features 60 must-see artists in 30 different venues throughout the city.

Just this year, Tapioca and the Flea were nominated for 'Best New Artist' by Orange County's 'OC Weekly,' and they've already supported bands like Young the Giant and CSS.

And if you're not exactly the music video type, don't worry: You can stream 'Take It Slow,' produced by Ethan Kaith of Crystal Castles, in the audio player below:
