Tegan and Sara, ‘Closer’ – New Video

Tegan and Sara unleashed their latest single, 'Closer,' nearly three months ago, and now they finally have a video to go along with it. In the clip for the first track off their forthcoming 'Heartthrob' album (out Jan. 29), the identical-twin Quin sisters seemingly sing a karaoke version of the tune, reading the lyrics off a screen between alternating scenes from a dance party, a spin-the-bottle game and various couples making out.

Not that it's a make-out song. "Although I do imagine that this would be an okay song to make out to, all I intended was to write something sweet that reminded the listener of a time before sex, complicated relationships, drama and heartbreak," Tegan told Rolling Stone back in September. "In short, I was writing about my youth -- a time when we got closer by linking arms and walking down our school hallway, or talked all night on the telephone."
