Tenacious D Announce Festival Supreme 2013

Tenacious D plan to combine their love of music and comedy with their newly announced Festival Supreme. Set to take place at the Santa Monica Pier on Oct. 19, the fest features the likes of Reggie Watts, Zach Galifianakis and Adam Sandler, plus many more talented acts.

Rounding out the bill are Tim & Eric, the Mr. Show Experience, the Mighty Boosh, the Gregory Brothers, Tig Notaro, Hannibal Buress, Eric Idle, Fred Armisen, Princess, Will Forte, Demetri Martin, Dynasty Handbag, Beardyman, Craig Robinson and the Nasty Delicious, Garfunkel & Oates, Neil Hamburger Band, the Abe Lincoln Story, Nancy & Beth and, of course, Tenacious D themselves.

“We’ve been trying to put this thing together for years. The comedy + music event of the century. Festival Supreme! It will shake the heavens and bring this town to its knees…in a good way,” said Tenacious D via the fest’s official site. Check out the quirky trailer below for more info.

General admission ($99) and VIP ($250) tickets go on sale Friday, June 14 at 10AM PST through Ticketmaster — fans must be 21+ in order to attend.
