If the Flaming Lips have ever thought of going full-on electro, it looks like the Adversary have beaten them to it.

The New York experimental outfit has plugged in for an electronic cover of 'Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1,' a classic track from the Lips' 2002 album 'Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.' Instead of recreating the eating competition seen in the original video, the Adversary go for a post-apocalyptic vision, and frontman Andre Misier plays some kind of prisoner of the state.

As the world is being attacked by oversized candy hearts and burgers, guest vocalist Jenny Electrik of Dynasty Electric plays Yoshimi, adding vocal depth to the song and saving the world with her green gems. While the song entrances you, the video is so visually ridiculous that your mind fights with itself over which to focus on more: sight or sound.

'Yoshimi' is the latest song to surface from the Adversary's EP 'Chapter Two,' which is due out in February.
