Ready for some new music from the Black Angels? Check out 'Evil Things' -- a hard-hitting jam from their forthcoming fourth full-length album, 'Indigo Meadow,' due out April 2 -- via the Soundcloud stream below.

'Evil Things' tells the story of a man and woman who are are on opposing sides of a war and are searching for common ground. "They spend all day under a cherry blossom tree, looking to further understand each other's perspectives as their passion is defined," frontman Alex Maas says. "They come to the realization that, by nature, humans have the capacity to be either evil or benevolent, empathetic and compassionate."

"They share an obvious mutual concern for the human condition, but don't feel as though they are doing anything to make things better," he adds. "They ask themselves: 'What am I going to do with the power that I have?' This song asks that question."
