DreamWorks Animation’s latest film, ‘The Croods,’ is set in the prehistoric age, and it stars Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds. The song in the trailer for the upcoming caveman flick is ‘Follow the Sun’ by Evermore.

The pop-rock group features three brothers from New Zealand: Jon, Peter and Dann Hume. ‘Follow the Sun’ is the catchy title track from their most recent studio release, and it's also the record’s lead single.

Evermore are best known for ‘It’s Too Late,’ a tune from their debut album, ‘Dreams.’ The song was used in various international promo ads for ‘The O.C.’ and ultimately appeared in an episode of the series. It was also included in the Australian version of the ‘Music from the O.C., Mix 2’ soundtrack.

The brothers enjoy traveling and drawing creative inspiration from their experiences. In a statement on their official website, Jon remarked, “I'd always had this idea to take a mobile studio to inspiring places around the world and record the results, so that's exactly what we did. We went to LA, Buenos Aires, Paris, Jerusalem, Spain and Morocco. It was an amazing trip, so many experiences I'll never forget.”

You might have caught Evermore on tour with such well-known acts as Pink, Maroon 5 and Matchbox Twenty.
