Indie folk rock mainstays the Decemberists enjoyed a very successful 2011 with the release of their sixth studio album, 'The King Is Dead', which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts a week after it hit stores in January of that year. Now, with the band ready to take a considerably long break, it is gearing up for the release of a live album later this month to tide fans over.

The collection is entitled 'We All Raise Our Voices to the Air (Live Songs 04.11–08.11)' and will drop March 13. The disc compiles live tracks recorded from April to August last year when the Decemberists were touring in support of 'King Is Dead'. The Portland folksters recently announced on their official Twitter account that they are streaming a live version of 'The Soldiering Life' on their Facebook page.'The Soldiering Life' originally appeared on 2003's 'Her Majesty the Decemberists.'

Pre-orders for 'We All Raise Our Voices to the Air (Live Songs 04.11–08.11)' are being taken now on Decemberists.com. The live LP will contain 20 songs and be released as a 2-CD set or an epic three-disc vinyl collection that hipsters are sure to drool over. Various bundle packages are available for sale as well. Pre-orders will also be taken at iTunes for those that want to go the digital download route.
