The Divers are on a journey to revive '90s-era melodic rock. The U.K. band's latest single, 'Castle in the Air,' mines FM gold from two decades ago for an excellent pop jam.

Reminiscent of bands like Tonic and the Wallflowers, Divers employ breathy vocals, reverberating guitar flourishes and slick songwriting.

"'Castle in the Air' is about someone who is off in their own little world and is unable to see other people's point of view due to their self absorbed lifestyles," the band tell Diffuser.fm.

"They're distracted by their own ego, dreams and aspirations," they add. "Years pass by, and those who were close to them have drifted away. They live up in the clouds and won't be coming down from their castle in the air."
