Alternative and emo rockers the Get Up Kids, who have been going strong since their reunion in 2008, have just announced a string of west coast tour dates in celebration of their 20th anniversary as a band. You can check out their newly announced tour dates below.

The celebration will kick off at Denver's installment of Riot Fest on Aug. 28 and will continue through mid-September. Rising emo band the Hotelier, as well as Joshua Berwanger, are billed as support for the tour.

The band's latest album, There Are Rules, was released via their own label, Quality Hill Records, in 2011. Since then, there has been little talk of a follow-up record, but if you're at least looking for some '90s nostalgia, be sure to watch them play what will surely be career-spanning sets on this tour. Tickets are currently on sale here.
