Soulful rockers the Heavy have revealed details on their forthcoming album, 'The Glorious Dead.' The band's third studio record will see the light of day this summer.

'What Makes a Good Man,' which is the first single from 'The Glorious Dead,' has already appeared in a Miller Lite commercial. While not as memorable as the Kia Sorento ad that features partying stuffed animals to the back drop of the Heavy's sleeper hit 'How You Like Me Now,'' the clip serves its purpose.

'The Glorious Dead' will be released on August 21 via Counter Records/Ninja Tunes. The Heavy will make a handful of live appearances to promote the disc, starting on June 18 in New York City. More tour dates in September are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Check out their current schedule below.

It seems The Heavy went on a soul-searching trip down south to find inspiration for 'The Glorious Dead.' That experience led to the creation of 'What Makes a Good Man.'

"We had the beat and the chorus for 'Good Man,' and when [singer/keyboardist] Lloyd [Buchanan] started jamming on the B3 and singing on it, I was like, 'This is going to be insane,'" frontman Kelvin Swaby told Rolling Stone. "The gospel singers started doing the chorus -- as if they already knew the song, they made it sound like the Supremes or Ronettes. It was an incredible feeling."
