As the Henrys gear up for the release of their latest full-length effort, Quiet Industry, Diffuser is beyond ecstatic to partner with them to premiere the record in full a few days early -- check it out in the audio player below.

The Henrys are a self-described “nearly-instrumental” group that has been known to perform as a quartet or quintet, and records with a much larger group of musicians. Bandleader Don Rooke has always wanted the Henrys to steer clear of any specific genre, and with Quiet Industry, they’ve beautifully done just that.

“Every Henrys recording seems, on one level, like an attempt to land in a sweet spot between genres we love,” Rooke admits. “That may explain a career of falling through the cracks.”

He adds, “Like some foreign strain of worker bee, hellbent on their modern roots mission, we’ve just finished our sixth disc, Quiet Industry. This one features the singer Gregory Hoskins, and has much more focus on lyrics and vocals than our previous work.”

You can pre-order your copy of Quiet Industry at the band's official Bandcamp, and make sure to stay up-to-date with everything happening in their world, including a few gigs in June and July, at this location.
