The Kills will return with their new album, Ash & Ice, this summer, and today (April 18), they have shared a music video for its second single “Heart of a Dog.”

Director Sophie Muller captures Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince genuinely having a blast together all across L.A., as the clip seamlessly moves between split-screens with slick transitions. Certainly, the Kills' Ash & Ice videos for last month’s “Doing It to Death” and now "Heart of a Dog" prove one thing: The garage-rock duo truly love spreading out on top of cars. Check it out above.

“It was shot all day and into the night in Los Angeles by our dear friend, the tremendous talent, Sophie Muller,” the band wrote in a statement. “We love this video. We love it because it’s f---ing fun. Muscle cars and backflips. Palm trees and cacti. Dogs and dice. Neon and sunshine.”

Ash & Ice is due out June 3 via Domino. It follows 2011’s Blood Pressures. Last September, Mosshart’s supergroup with Jack White, the Dead Weather, also returned with their first album in five years, Dodge & Burn.
