As the Knew prepare for the release of their upcoming studio album, Schmew, Diffuser is ecstatic to partner with the Denver rockers for the premiere of the official music video for lead single “Rally and Rumble” -- crank it up above.

“We like to think this is our ‘Hard Day’s Night,’ just a bunch of handsome musicians showing off their lighter side ... running around Liverpool,” guitarist Tyler Breuer laughingly explains. “‘Rally and Rumble’ was conceptualized over a long stretch of time, but filmed and edited in a day. I’d explain the story, but the video does just that!”

The video takes place in a kitchen, an alley, a dumpster in that alley and the band’s practice space. It also features shots of the magazines Rolling Scone and Billbread, “industry standards as far as music rags go,” Breuer admits.

“Rally and Rumble” is the first single released from Schmew, which will mark the Knew’s third full-length effort. With the LP set for release in September via Greater Than Collective, fans can get their hands on the new single in the form of a 7” b/w “Pound of Skin.” The 7” is limited to just 500 copies on colored vinyl, each one housed in hand-screened jackets. You can get more information the single here.

As you wait to get your hands on the Knew's Schmew (sorry, we had to), make sure to stay current with everything happening in their world -- and check out their full tour itinerary -- at their official website.
