A trailer for the movie ‘The Lucky One’ features Snow Patrol‘s ‘This Isn’t Everything You Are’ matched with clips of romantic scenes between film stars Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling.

The spot from Warner Bros. Pictures explains the plot of the movie, in which Efron plays a Marine sergeant who finds a photo of a random woman during battle in Iraq and uses it to motivate himself to get back home.

He tracks down the woman and they develop a romance. “Most love stories begin with a kiss / Ours began before we even met,” Efron says in a voiceover.

‘The Lucky One’ is a love story all the way, which makes the inclusion of Snow Patrol’s music a good fit. Though the band is known for large, emotional songs, ‘This Isn’t Everything You Are’ is not entirely a love song.

Singer Gary Lightbody said of the track, “When we’d finished that song, we were going, ‘F— me, this could be a big song.’ It’s three stories in one — each verse is a different person in my life that was going through a tough time. Then the chorus is about trying to explain that everything isn’t as bad as it might seem.”

‘The Lucky One’ hits theaters on Apr. 20. The Snow Patrol track appears on their new album ‘Fallen Empires,’ which hit No. 5 in January.
