On Feb. 10, the March Divide celebrated the release of their latest EP, +1. Packed with seven energetic tracks fueled by mastermind Jared Putnam, the EP follows the band's critically-acclaimed sophomore LP, Billions. As Putnam emphatically states, the songs found on +1 "aren't B-sides!"

One such song that proves the EP has no problem standing on its own is "Forward Thinking," the disc's opening track. Today (March 12), Diffuser is thrilled to premiere the official lyric video for the tune -- check it out above.

"'Forward Thinking' is about our tendency to sit around, drinking with our friends, while talking about all the great things we're going to do," Putnam tells us about the song. "If we don't do something, the conversation will turn into being about all the great things we were going to do. It's a good song for the Rocky montage."

Those reflective lyrics will no doubt hit home for many listeners; the overall sound of the track -- something that sounds like Cracker in their heyday -- brings it all together for an unforgettable listening session.

If you like what you hear (and see) with "Forward Thinking," make sure to pick up the March Divide's +1 here. In the meantime, if you're heading to SXSW or find yourself in Texas in the next few weeks, you should do everything you can to catch the March Divide live.
