Burgeoning pop rockers Echosmith have been turning heads ever since their hit single, "Cool Kids," dropped in 2013. Now, the band has gained even more fans -- the Muppets! Teaming up with YouTube celebrity Mike Tompkins, our furry childhood friends are taught the track, and then they deliver a ragged a cappella version as part of their recent residency at YouTube Space LA. You can watch the video above.

While the Muppets work on their a cappella skills, the band continues to thrive in the wake of the success of the newest single, "Bright," which is sitting at the No. 30 overall spot on the iTunes charts. Echosmith also announced that they will be performing live on the American Idol finale next Wednesday (May 13), which will also see performances from Fall Out Boy, Jamie Foxx, Vance Joy, Nile Rodgers and many more. The two-hour episode will air live on Fox on May 13 starting at 8PM ET.

Echosmith are gearing up to support Twenty One PilotsBlurryface worldwide tour. You can check out all of their scheduled tour dates via their website.
