The Neighbourhood, ‘A Little Death’ – New Video

Don’t be fooled by the Anglican spelling of their name: the Neighbourhood are American though and through. That said, the “Foster the People meet Thom Yorke” buzz that’s been surrounding them recently doesn’t seem totally out of place for a band that followed up a tour opening for the Temper Trap with a trek supporting Interpol‘s Paul Banks.

Directed by Daniel Iglesias Jr. and Zack Sekuler, the Neighbourhood’s video for ‘A Little Death’ is unabashedly erotic and borderline NSFW, with plenty of girl-on-girl action but little in the way of actual nudity. Regardless, it should go a long way in shoring up more positive vibes for the Los Angeles-based quintet, which already seems like it is going places.
