Last night (Nov. 19), supergroup the New Basement Tapes -- Elvis Costello, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Carolina Chocolate Drops’ Rhiannon Giddens, Mumford and Sons’ Marcus Mumford and Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith -- performed a pair of songs from their new Bob Dylan project, ‘Lost On the River,’ on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'.

Taking discarded lyrics written by Dylan during his work with the Band in 1967 and setting them to music, the fivesome performed two of the resulting songs, ‘Duncan & Jimmy’ and ‘Nothing to It.’

Giddens takes the lead on ‘Duncan & Jimmy’ -- which you can watch above -- and it fittingly takes on a bluegrass tone. They then switch gears with the James-led ‘Nothing to It,’ featuring the My Morning Jacket frontman's one-of-a-kind psych Southern rock thumbprint. Check it out below.

The 20-song, T Bone Burnett-produced album is out now.
