The Strokes, ‘Fast Animals’ [Listen]

If you've heard the Strokes' new album, 'Comedown Machine,' in its entirety and are already pining for more music from the NYC rockers, you're in luck: 'Slow Animals,' the B-side off the forthcoming 7-inch vinyl edition of the band's 'All the Time' single, is now available for your listening pleasure. 

And if 'Fast Animals' sounds somewhat familiar to you, there's a reason for that. The track is actually a sped-up version of the 'Comedown Machine' tune 'Slow Animals,' with Julian Casablancas singing in falsetto over a musical backing with the pitch shifted up several clicks. The 'All the Time' single officially drops on April 20 as part of Record Store Day festivities, but in the meantime, check out the B-side 'Fast Animals' by clicking the button below.
