The War on Drugs performed dynamic renditions of "Under the Pressure" and "Disappearing" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (April 13). Both tunes appear on the Philadelphia sextet's latest album, last year's critically-lauded Lost in the Dream. If you missed the episode, check out the videos below.

Both performances showcase the band's ability to capture its smoldering brand of rock and roll in the live setting. The tunes benefited from the tight dynamics within the band, each simmering slowly before bubbling over with hard-hitting guitar solos from frontman Adam Granduciel, who otherwise kept a low profile during the meat of the songs as the rest of the band shined with subtle touches of keyboards and saxophone.

The Kimmel performance presages a series of upcoming festival appearances for the band, including Coachella this Saturday (April 18) followed by stops at Sasquatch, Field Trip, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and a string of European events.
