Thurston Moore – Awesome Rock Dads

Thurston Moore may have recently taken a beating for his alleged marital infidelities against longtime wife and Sonic Youth bandmate Kim Gordon, but nobody is questioning his status as an awesome rock dad. The singer-guitarist and his bassist bride welcomed their lone child, Coco Hayley Gordon Moore, back in '94, and the little one basically grew up on the road with her parents.

She's since gone into the family business and now handles vocal duties for a very Sonic Youth-esque art-punk band called Big Nils, which formed in 2010 but went on hiatus last year when several members went off to college. The picture to the left is from a 2006 performance Coco, Thurston and Kim made as a trio on the classic WB drama 'Gilmore Girls.'
