No need for apologies, but we'll take it: New York punks Titus Andronicus just dropped a mixtape called "Sorry About the Delay" -- a riff on Lil Wayne's "Sorry 4 the Wait" -- in advance of the July 28 release of their upcoming album, The Most Lamentable Tragedy.

The tape, which you can stream below, includes the new song, "Come On, Siobhan," plus multiple versions of several already-released singles like "Stranded on My Own," "Dimed Out" (which the band released on May 1) and "Fatal Flaw" (which came out June 5).

Each song is treated to various rehearsal, demo and solo takes. The mixtape kicks off with a 10-minute instrumental piece and closes with nearly 30 minutes of guitar drone.

The band will commemorate the release of The Most Lamentable Tragedy -- which frontman Patrick Stickles says will be a 93-minute a rock opera about manic depression -- with a four-night run at Brooklyn's DIY venue Shea Stadium BK and a three-month tour that will take them through North America and Europe.
