'Still Life with Hot Deuce and Silver Platter' is kind of an odd title for a song. But that's OK, because Titus Andronicus is kind of a weird name for a band -- and overall, they're a bit of a freakish band, all things considered. And by weird, we mean totally awesome, of course. 'Still Life with Hot Deuce and Silver Platter' is a totally awesome title.

It's also an awesome song. Listen with the lyrics video above if you don't believe us, though you're probably more likely to listen if you do believe us. The song appears on their forthcoming 'Local Business' album, which may or may not be about local Glen Rock, N.J., institutions like the Organic Tofu House restaurant, the Super Doggy Wonder Kitty pet store or Glen Rock Art & Frame, which could be where a painting titled 'Still Life with Hot Deuce and Silver Platter' is hanging. Probably not, but we won't know for sure until the album drops on Oct. 22, will we?
