Earlier this year, Accidental Records and Goldsmiths, the music department at the University of London, joined forces to create NX Records, a label devoted to documenting the cool sounds emerging from the Deptford/New Cross section of England's capital. November saw the release of 'Crossing Lines,' a compilation of tunes from the district's rising stars, and today, Diffuser is pleased to premiere the video for one of the disc's standout tracks, Tom Morley's 'Figure Skating.'

The clip finds Morley bathed in purple light, belting out a cracking soul-tinged pop tune about being caught "in the eye of the storm." Our turtleneck-clad hero's going through some kind of personal drama, and while it's got nothing to do with landing tricky triple axels or salchows, as the title suggests, it sounds pretty intense. Give it a look and listen -- then click here for more info on NX.
