Toro y Moi's latest album, What For?, is out this week (April 7) via Carpark Records, and to celebrate the disc, the synth pop artist has announced a new tour.

Kicking off in London on April 8, the tour will fly across the pond and take Chazwick Bundick -- the mastermind behind Toro y Moi -- to a number of gigs around the U.S. Not only will he be playing his own headlining shows, Bundick will also be performing at several festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Osheaga.

What For? was recorded in Bundick's home studio in Berkley, California; multi-instrumentalist Julian Lynch and orchestral guitarist Ruban Nielson are featured on the LP. “I’ve done electronic R&B and more traditional recorded type R&B stuff," Bundick said in a recent statement. "I just wanted to see what else was out there ... it’s all coming from the same mindset and point of creativity. It’s just me trying to take what I already have, and then taking it further.”
