Tweedy -- Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy’s side project with his son Spencer -- are currently on tour for the remainder of the month, and last night (March 20) during a stop in Melbourne, they brought out hometown rocker Courtney Barnett for a set-closing cover of David Bowie.

The Australian garage-rocker joined the Tweedys and company during their encore at the Recital Hall, and together, they tore through Bowie’s Hunky Dory staple “Queen Bitch.” Check out fan-shot clips at the bottom of the page.

Tweedy -- who dropped their debut effort Sukierae back in 2014 -- have more shows scheduled in Australia, New Zealand and Japan before the elder Tweedy embarks on the second leg of Wilco's tour behind last year’s Star Wars. They have U.S. stops planned between June and August, including a headlining spot at this year’s Mountain Jam.

Barnett is also still going strong behind her breakthrough debut Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit. Her North American tour continues next month, with appearances at Mountain Jam, Coachella, Hangout, Boston Calling and Governors Ball. You can see Wilco's complete itinerary here and Barnett's right here.
