Jeff Tweedy is an old friend of 'The Colbert Report' from his appearances with Wilco, but he'd never stopped by with his son and new bandmate, Spencer.

That changed last night (Sept. 22) when both denim-clad dad and son sat down for an interview with Stephen Colbert and performed a couple songs from 'Sukierae,' their new album under the moniker Tweedy.

Perhaps the most important revelation from the interview: Both the elder and younger Tweedy agree that they definitely could not take Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus in a fight. "Absolutely not," said the soft-spoken Spencer. Jeff added, "I wouldn't want to get in that."

'Sukierae' dropped today via Wilco's dBpm Records.
