It’s only been a few months since Twin Peaks dropped their sophomore album, ‘Wild Onion,’ but the Chicago foursome are still hard at work, gearing up to drop a new 7-inch later this year.

The band has unveiled the forthcoming single’s A-side, ‘In the Morning (In the Evening),’ and from the sounds of it, Twin Peaks have further honed their retro garage rock in the intervening months since ‘Wild Onion.’ Take a listen to the new track below:

“This was our first experience recording directly to 2-inch tape, using an entirely analog setup at the wonderful Treehouse Records,” the band explained in a statement posted to their website. “We love the vintage process and are psyched for everyone to hear it.”

‘In the Morning’ – which will be backed with an older cut from the band, ‘Got Your Money’ – will be released on clear orange vinyl.
