There was (Ziggy) stardust in the air last week in Chicago, and Ty Segall breathed it right in.

The garage rocker happened to be in the Windy City the day after Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel declared Sept. 23 as 'David Bowie Day' in honor of a new exhibit on the legend at the Museum of Contemporary Art, and Segall celebrated by playing a medley of Bowie songs during his encore.

Among those covered: 'Ziggy Stardust,' 'Suffragette City' and 'Queen Bitch.'
