Not even most bands with their own 'Behind the Music' episodes have had their final days documented in as much gory detail as Pittsburgh instrumental post-rock band Don Caballero, whose disintegration over their final tour in 2000 was covered with a 16-page spread in the fanzine Chunklet before ending prematurely with an icy crash on I-75 as the band traveled to Detroit for its final show. String-tapping virtuoso Ian Williams went on the form the band experimental New York band Battles who, despite the name, rock on relatively drama free.
