Victory Covers Beach Boys Holiday Classic, Offers Original Christmas Ditty

It's easy to get cynical this time of year. The holidays have become overly commercialized, and it seems all anyone cares about anymore is getting presents -- preferably really expensive ones. One man that hasn't fallen victim to crass materialism is Victory, aka Robert Fleming, and earlier today, the L.A.-based power-pop riser bestowed upon the world 'Just Want You Here for Christmas,' a smiley seasonal jam about how true love trumps consumer goods.

Victory has also rolled out a cover of the Beach Boys 'Merry Christmas, Baby,' a somewhat sadder song he nevertheless renders in his signature shiny-happy retro-modern style.
