Exclusive Premiere: Vinnie Ferra, ‘Behind the Scenes’

As Vinnie Ferra prepares for the release of his latest LP, arc en ciel, Diffuser is thrilled to partner with him to premiere his new single, “Behind the Scenes” -- take it for a spin in the audio player below.

“Behind the Scenes” captures the many sides of Ferra’s vast talents, from his poignant lyrics to the track's beautiful and dynamic musical arrangements (complete with a haunting violin solo).

“Think of ‘Behind the Scenes’ as the aftermath of ‘God Forbid,’” Ferra explains to us, referencing the first single released from arc en ciel. “It’s the second half of moving on -- describing the place we hit once we’ve given up on the pursuit of someone or something.”

Ferra expertly blends the worlds of indie and folk rock into one cohesive sound, a sound that is found throughout arc en ciel. The new album is set for release on June 23, and as Ferra puts it, it’s “been a long time coming.”
