A new Virgin Mobile Canada commercial features a melodic rock track from a California indie band along with photos of a fashionable group of young friends hanging out in a club.

The name of the group is PK, and their song 'Berelain' acts as the soundtrack for the clip, which uses still images taken from Virgin Mobile devices.

The spot asks viewers, "Does your phone get you hot beauty offers? Does your phone get you sweet movie deals? Does your phone get you exclusive concert access?" The ad explains that Virgin Mobile users get pre-sale concert tickets and exclusive offers from partners like H&M, Cineplex and The Body Shop.

The youthful energy of 'Berelain' makes it appropriate for such a commercial. The song resides on PK's EP 'The Lost Boys Sessions,' which hit iTunes in May. The video for 'Some Nights,' another track from that release, has been earning airplay on MTV2.

The group was chosen by Rolling Stone as one of the top unsigned acts in the nation, and they participated in the magazine's "Choose the Cover" competition to select the first unsigned band to appear on the cover of RS. (The Sheepdogs won the contest.)

PK has a West Coast tour lined up for October. The guys wrote on their Facebook page that they are currently writing new material for a future album.
