Viv and the Revival is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Viv Peyrat. The Philly-based musician knocks out hyper-melodic tunes that appeal to modern rock and pop fans alike, and although he's not yet a household name, viewers of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ might already be familiar with Viv’s music, since the hit singing competition used six of his songs on the show's second season and several others on season three.

Formed in 2010, Viv and the Revival have self-released four EPs and are getting ready to release a new album called ‘The Introduction.’ Produced by Viv and Grammy-nominated studio stalwarts Rick Friedrich (The Roots) and Scott Bricklin (Aimee Mann), ‘The Introduction’ will hit stores this winter, but Diffuser.fm got its hands on the glam-rock-infused cut ‘I Want It,’ and we’re bringing you its exclusive premiere.

"This song is an anthem about how everyone always wants more and more,” Peyrat tells Diffuser.fm about ‘I Want It.’ “My friend Nate Rylan and I co-wrote this. It’s a tongue-in-cheek look at money and possessions and what they do to us."
