Good news, Walkmen fans: Your two-year wait for new material from the band is almost over -- and even though their new album 'Heaven' won't be here until June 5, they're tiding you over and whetting your appetite with a two-minute preview.

In a press release announcing the new album, singer Hamilton Leithauser described the growth the band went through during the sessions. "The detachment you can feel throughout our younger records is gone. We felt like it was time to make a bigger, more generous statement."

Added guitarist Paul Maroon, "When you’re starting out, you’re sitting there trying to come up with a big idea, but after a while, you learn about the process of writing. You learn about your friends in the band and how they work best."

'Heaven' follows 2010's 'Lisbon,' which cracked the Billboard Top 30 and ended up at No. 21 on Pitchfork's list of the top albums of the year. The band has been on the road this year celebrating the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough release, 'Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone.'
