It's been almost a year since LCD Soundsystem went out on top with a triumphant show at New York's Madison Square Garden -- and fans will be able to mark the anniversary of the band's farewell with an announcement concerning 'Shut Up and Play the Hits,' the upcoming documentary that follows 48 hours in the life of former frontman James Murphy.

The movie, directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, takes viewers behind the scenes of that MSG show and follows Murphy the morning after it all ended. After premiering at Sundance earlier this year, 'Shut Up' travels next to SXSW, where it's scheduled for multiple screenings. In anticipation of all this activity, a new clip from the movie has been released, including a look at the band's MSG performance of 'North American Scum.'

The bulk of the clip follows Murphy down a city street while an interview, conducted in voiceover, delves into Murphy's thoughts relating to his age and how it played a part in his decision to retire the LCD Soundsystem name. Watch below, and if you're planning on being in attendance at SXSW next week, be sure to get yourself to a screening of 'Shut Up and Play the Hits.'
