Watch (an Animated) the National Play a Sad Christmas Song for ‘Bob’s Burgers’

When two amazing things you would never expect to merge come together, there's only one explanation: it's a Christmas miracle! The National have teamed up with Fox's animated 'Bob's Burgers' to release a holiday greeting in the form of a video, which you can watch below via Vulture.

The video from this year's holiday episode introduces the band as "Bob's Buskers" and depicts the members of the melancholy indie band as ornaments hanging from the Belcher family tree and singing a Christmas song. The song is, of course, depressing: exactly what you'd expect from the National. The video is so sad that even the store next to Bob's has a "For Rent" sign on the window, which is usually not the case.
