Watch Coldplay Perform ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ on ‘TFI Friday’

The U.K. music series, TFI Friday, is officially back in the swing of things since returning to the air 15 years after originally closing its curtains. Coldplay were the latest musical guest to take the resurrected show’s stage last night (Nov. 6), performing “Adventure of a Lifetime,” the newly minted single from their forthcoming seventh album. Check it out in the video above.

The English rockers also participated in one of TFI Friday’s goofy segments. For frontman Chris Martin, this meant playing some kind of banana-piano contraption. Watch that unfold in the clip at the bottom of the page.

“Adventure of a Lifetime” will appear on the forthcoming A Head Full of Dreams when it lands on Dec. 4 via Parlophone/Atlantic. It follows last year’s Ghost Stories. Previously, Martin hinted the album could be the band’s last.

Coldplay will debut more new material from A Head Full of Dreams during a concert that will be livestreamed on Tidal. Even non-subscribers will be able to watch that performance when it airs on the streaming platform on Nov. 13.
