La Blogothèque's Take Away Show series has thrived for the duration of its lifetime, bringing artists like Alt-J and Ryley Walker to unconventional venues for intimate performances. The latest edition has Courtney Barnett playing her song, "Depreston," from this year's Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, on the streets of Paris with only an electric guitar and her voice. Check out the video below.

The reverb of the Parisian alley in which Barnett performs gives the track a vibe that's both huge-sounding and intimate; the latter trait amplified by cautious pedestrian passersby, unsure if they should pass through the area being filmed or not.

Barnett has released a bunch of videos of her own in the past couple months including clips for songs "Shiny Gun," "Dead Fox" and "Kim's Caravan."She's busy at the moment making her way through California as part of her summer tour, which wraps up with a few European festival dates in August. Check out her complete itinerary here.
