Travelers who were shipping up to (and out of) Boston's Logan Airport last night (March 16) were treated to a surprise performance by hometown heroes the Dropkick Murphys.

The celtic punk collective apparently had some free time before their flight to Dublin, so they decided to entertain everyone near Gate E4 with an impromptu performance of songs including "Dirty Glass," "Rose Tattoo" and a reworded version of their classic "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" with frontman Ken Casey swapping out the lyric "up to Boston" with "out to Dublin."

The band posted this photo to Instagram:

The band were on their way to Ireland for the first overseas stop of their inaugural Celtic Punk Invasion Tour which also moves onto Scotland and England this week. They had just played five shows at Boston's House of Blues including two on March 14 alone.
