Watch Olivia Jean Perform ‘Merry Widow’ on ‘Conan’

Following the release of her debut solo album, ‘Bathtub Love Killings,’ in mid-October, Olivia Jean took the stage at ‘Conan’ last night (Nov. 10) to perform the lead single, ‘Merry Widow.’

Wielding an ultra-cool bluesy sound, the appearance proves that Jean knows her way around a guitar -- perfectly exhibited during a killer solo around 1:40 in the video above -- so it’s no surprise she’s established herself as a fixture at Jack White’s Third Man Records. “She can play any instrument and that’s a pretty rare thing," said White. "There’s not too many people we’ve had in our world that can do all that."

While ‘Bathtub Love Killings’ may be Jean’s first solo work, she also fronted the all-girl garage-rock outfit, the Black Belles, who put out their debut self-titled album via Third Man in 2011.
