We’re holding out hope Run the Jewels will return in 2016 with their third full-length, especially after a 2015 that’s kept Killer Mike and El-P absolutely booked with tour dates and festival slots. That trend continued last night (Dec. 10) with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The rap duo debuted “Crown,” a slick cut off their sophomore effort Run the Jewels 2, live for the very first time. They followed suit with their eponymous call-to-arms from their 2013 debut. If you missed yesterday’s broadcast, you can catch both performances in the videos at the bottom of the page.

Run the Jewels have a handful of holiday gigs planned before the year’s out. They’ll play 91X WREX the Halls in San Diego, Calif., on Dec. 13; Reaction New Year’s Eve in Rosemont, Ill., on Dec. 30; and SnowGlobe Music Festival in Lake Tahoe, Calif., on Dec. 31. They’ll also appear at X Games Aspen in Colorado on Jan. 28 followed by Belly Up Aspen the next night. Find details at their website.

While it’s been more than a year since RtJ dropped their sophomore effort, they did unleash Meow the Jewels, an inspired collection of cat-remixed takes of Run the Jewels 2 tracks back in October.
