On Thursday (Dec. 3), former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus. He was set to play a show in Bloomington, Minn., that night, and just two days earlier, he played what would become his final concert at Adelaide Hall in Toronto.

Weiland was on tour with his backing band the Wildabouts. During recent shows, they played a mix of the frontman’s solo material and Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver songs. You can see him perform STP’s 1994 Purple classic “Vasoline” in the fan-shot video above (via Rolling Stone). Weiland released Blaster, his debut with the Wildabouts, in March. It was preceded by three other solo albums, six Stone Temple Pilots LPs and two albums with Velvet Revolver.

Weiland reportedly died of cardiac arrest. He was 48.
