Kanye West Featuring Bon Iver, ‘Lost in the World’ – New Video
It’s been two years since hip-hop superstar Kanye West released his last solo album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.’ He’s dropped two more records with fellow rap mogul Jay-Z, and his roster of artists on GOOD Music. ‘Ye has finally revealed the music video for ‘Lost in the City,’ featuring Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon.
‘Lost in the City’ was never officially released as a single from ’My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ but received a lot of attention because of the two parties involved. Vernon visited Kanye in Hawaii to work on the track, which samples Bon Iver’s ‘Woods.’
Consequence of Sound reports that the Chicago native teamed up with fashion filmmaker Ruth Hogben on the video, which features dancing girls, a LOT of mirrors and tall skyscrapers. You can watch the whole video by scrolling to the bottom of the page.
Bon Iver will resume their North American tour this month when they stop by the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta, on May 25. The trek will end June 10 with a performance at this year’s Bonnaroo festival. The indie-folk band will then head overseas for shows in Poland, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy and more throughout the summer.
