David Bowie is gearing up for the release of his latest full-length, Blackstar, which will be preceded by a short film featuring the album’s title track (stylized as ★).

Directed by Johan Renck, the movie will make its theatrical premiere at Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn this Thursday, Nov. 19. The screening is free; you can RSVP at this location. It will also broadcast that same day on Palladia at 3:50 EST. Today, Bowie has shared a spooky, 30-second trailer for the forthcoming film, which highlights a new excerpt from "Blackstar." Check it out up above.

The single was featured in the title sequence for the U.K. drama, The Last Panthers, which is also helmed by Renck. That debuted on Sky Atlantic yesterday.

Bowie’s Blackstar album will land in stores on his 69th birthday, Jan. 8. It follows 2013’s The Next Day.
