TV on the Radio played a show in L.A. last night (Nov. 14) in conjunction with Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in L.A., the energy drink company’s month-long concert series. During their set, the New York City rockers brought out a special guest: Miguel.

The hometown R&B crooner joined Tunde Adebimpe and company for a performance of the title track from TV on the Radio’s most recent full-length, Seeds. Miguel hung around for his own tune, “Adorn,” which appeared on 2012’s Kaleidoscope Dream. Then, the one-off supergroup covered Can’s “Vitamin C.” Watch all three performances in the videos at the bottom of the page. (Miguel appears around the 4:45 mark of the band’s “Seeds” performance.)

TV on the Radio dropped Seeds last year. Adebimpe will release his self-titled debut with his actual supergroup project Nevermen -- featuring Faith No More's Mike Patton and cLOUDDEAD’s Adam “Doseone” Drucker -- on Jan. 29.

Miguel returned with his third LP, Wildheart, in June. He has one upcoming performance on the books; he’ll play the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Florida, which runs from March 4-6. Find ticket information at the singer’s website.
