Will Butler takes us to the future where the world is overtaken by polka-dot covered zombie dancers ... at least, that's what he does with his trippy new music video for "Something's Coming." Check it out above.

Directed by Marcel Dzama, the video features a number of dagger-wielding and blood-soaked dancers, including a few who serve as Butler's backups on the retro disco track. As he sings about meeting one's maker and the potential end of life as we know it -- "Something's coming, oh, is it the end / Something's coming, I don't know" -- the visuals aren't actually that depressing.

The Arcade Fire multi-instrumentalist and younger brother to frontman Win Butler, Will gives his ethos on what the video is supposed to be all about: “It’s about the ominous human gloom with a disco beat, it’s the apocalypse but we can dance,” he recently explained to Nowness.

"Something's Coming" is from Butler's latest solo effort, Policy, which is out now via Merge Records.
