Static-X frontman Wayne Static’s widow, Terra Wray Static, has died from an apparent suicide just over a year after her husband’s death in 2014. She was 33 years old.

Wray, a former adult entertainment actress, met Static at Ozzfest in 2007. They married the following year, and she began traveling with Static-X prior to the band’s breakup in 2010. She continued to appear with Static during his interviews and concerts as a solo artist.

Static died from multiple drug toxicity in November 2014 at the age of 48. A coroner’s report found the Static-X frontman mixed oxycodone, hydromorphone, alprazolam and alcohol. Wray was the first to discover her husband’s body after he passed in his sleep.

Adult entertainment attorney Michael Fattorosi confirmed Wray’s death on Twitter (via

I’m so sad today. My client & friend Tera Wray, former Pornstar and the widow of Wayne Static committed suicide yesterday. We were emailing back & forth on Tuesday. And today I got a call from her roommate letting me know what happened. Tera is once again with the love of her life, Wayne, & will be forever. May they both find peace together for all of eternity. Godspeed Tera.
