Just a couple of weeks ago, we were thrilled to partner with We Were Wolves to premiere the title-track from their new EP, Ruin Your Weekend. Now, we’re even more excited to work with them again to unveil the official music video for the track -- check it out above.

The song itself showcases We Were Wolves’ impeccable knack to create hard-hitting rock and roll while always remaining completely in control, and the accompanying visuals only serve to further those sentiments.

“Some friends of ours have this old warehouse that was all messed up and it provided a great atmosphere for the video,” frontman Drew Haught tells us. “Rock music videos are hard because it’s too easy to be a cheeseball and do something lame. We are proud of what the final product ended up being and are excited to release it.”

Drummer Zach Elizondo adds, “We lucked out with the timing of using that spot to film. It’s in the middle of being renovated, so everything was all dark and torn up. Everything was DIY. We just treated it like we were playing a show. Joey Kisling, who shot and edited the video, had some great ideas and really helped capture exactly what we wanted.”

Stay tuned for more details surrounding We Were Wolves’ new EP, Ruin Your Weekend, which is set to hit the streets on June 16, and make sure to stay up-to-date with everything in their world over at their official website.
